Big Government, Congressman Ryan, and Student Loans
Second, and perhaps most importantly: Why on earth are the Republicans buddying up with big-government champions like the New America Foundation in trying to protect this obvious, shameless, beltway monstrosity? Is this what the rank and file conservative Republicans can expect from their leadership in the House going forward? If so, I recommend strongly that they be immediately replaced, by true conservatives not infected by the bureaucratic, beltway sickness that seems to have enveloped both parties on this issue and others.
Student Loan Defaulter Calls For Solidarity
We need to organize. And we need to learn to help each other out even as we face a large battle. People in default suffer in a variety of ways – they can’t rent anywhere to save their lives, for example. They’re doomed to poverty, because they’re being made examples of. It’s a way to keep us all in perpetual fear of this system. I think that borrowers need to start actively helping each other out and networking among themselves so that they can resist the loan industry’s tactics. Lending each other some moral support is certainly a start.
