There is a story that a friend of Bess Truman once asked her why she did not get her husband, Harry, to stop saying manure so frequently. Her reply was that it had taken her over 25 years to get him to start saying it. So now we have Google playing the role of Bess Truman to keep the word that is even worse than manure from the ears of the nation, with none other than Green Party candidate Jill Stein playing the role of Harry. I guess you could pick worse Presidents to model yourself on. According to this new release Google, which has served as the broker for the placement of the Green Party’s ad on cable and satellite is censoring it for “inappropriate language”. I can’t say I blame them. I mean I wouldn’t use that word on my blog. Anyway, I am assuming that is the word they are concerned about. I couldn’t find anything else in the ad that is inappropriate. What do you think ?
Of course maybe there is a Beatles fan somewhere in Google who was upset about her saying revolution.
I just realized that I am going to have to hunt down Dr. Stein’s tax returns. I’ll be sure to fill you in after I study them.
